Dance Department Philosophy
The philosophy of the Dance Department is to provide a well rounded dance education with a technical foundation that challenges students physically, artistically and intellectually; and to prepare students for collegiate and professional careers in dance and other related professions. Our goal is to encourage students to become more involved in the growth of their community - in their school culture and beyond - and to encourage them to find ways to create change through the movement.
